The “Bolle of Magadino” is one of the last examples of river deltas where natural environment has been mostly preserved. The area represents a very fertile and abundant territory for migratory birds before or after the crossing the alps. The delta ecosystem can be visited along a hiking trail within a protected zone and on a boat trip guided by an expert. During summer a skilled “gondolier” accompanies numerous nature lovers to discover this rare beauty.
