The region above Weesen and the Walensee in Eastern Switzerland is a very popular hiking area with a variety of hiking and recreational opportunities between the riviera at the Walensee and the mountain peaks of the foothills of the Alps. Given its remoteness, the Obereichholzberg mountain vacation home can only be reached via a hiking trail, from Weesen or Ziegelbrücke with your own car. From the Ziegelbrücke train station, the vacation home can be reached in a good hour on foot via a hiking trail. Via Höfen- and Rittersbergstrasse from Weesen, the vacation cottage can be reached by car up to about 500 meters from the front door. The parking lot is about a 10-minute walk from the house.
