Locarno Time Travel Tour

Is it possible to travel through time? We think so! Proof of this is the two-hour tour through the streets of Locarno, offered free of charge by Ascona-Locarno Tourism. Different eras, unknown events from the past, historical personalities, curiosities and an exclusive insight into places normally closed to the public - the perfect mix to set our time machine in motion. But always pay attention to what's happening around you, because with the Locarno Time Travel Tour anything is possible: in just a moment, you’ll be transported from the guide’s stories to a bygone era – complete with colourful characters determined to tell you how things really happened. Curtain up! Our journey through time can begin.

• Meeting point: 10.05 am in front of the Teatro and Casinò Locarno entrance, Largo Zorzi 1, 6600 Locarno

• Tour Departure: 10.15 am

• Tour end: 11.45 am at Piazza Sant’Antonio

INFORMATION

• Difficulty of the tour/hike: Easy

• Tour capacity: 25 people

• Groups of more than 8 people are not permitted.

• The guided tour can be held in the four languages (ITL/GER/FRN/ENG) but will be conducted in up to two languages at the same time depending on the language majority.

• The guide can interrupt or cancel the tour in case of bad weather.
