Introductory sculpture course on Cristallina white marble and visit to the International Sculpture Center and the village of Peccia
Description
Each participant has the opportunity to gain first experience in stone carving. The course is led by the owner of the Sculpture School, Alex Naef, a third-generation sculptor and qualified art teacher. After the course, a picnic awaits you in the garden of the International Sculpture Center. Here you can refresh yourself and take a break under one of the oldest chestnut trees in the valley. Subsequently, a visit to the exhibition โThe Forms of Energyโ is scheduled and a guest artist will provide an idea of his work as an artist in residence. The day ends with a visit to the village of Peccia under the expert guidance of Bruno Donati. You will learn a lot of historical information known by few about the development of the village and the region of Lavizzara.

09:00-12:30: Welcome and stone sculpture course at the Sculpture School
13:00-14:30: Lunch break with picnic
14:30-17:00: Guided tour of the exhibition at the International Sculpture Center and visit of the village
17:00-17:30: Coffee break and return journey
