The Boggera is one of the most impressive and popular canyons in Ticino. Bright granite, crystal-clear pools, sunny sections and a beautiful canyon landscape make this tour a special canyoning experience in Riviera.
The Boggera family is ideal for families, beginners and anyone looking for a varied canyoning experience in impressive natural surroundings. After the welcome and equipment handout, our guides provide a detailed introduction to procedure, technique and safety, so that you are well prepared for the adventure. This tour is particularly suitable for families because the more challenging sections can largely be avoided. In addition, we leave the canyon before the more difficult passages. This makes the route a little shorter, without making the overall experience significantly shorter.
Boggera family offers a wonderful combination of water, rock and movement. You can expect easy and exciting canyon passages, impressive water scenery and – if conditions allow – optional jumps and slides. Waterfalls and canyon passages are normally descended by abseiling or passed in another low-risk way together with the guide.
The meeting point is at our base in Cresciano. The exact start times are shown during booking.
Requirements for participation are good swimming skills, enjoyment of movement in nature and the requirements stated in the description of the respective offer.
Transport to the meeting point is not included. Participants travel there with their own vehicle.
We provide the complete equipment for the tour: canyoning shoes, neoprene socks, wetsuit, helmet, harness, as well as carabiners and abseiling device. Gloves are optional.
